Kym Hampton Liberty Analyst
Kym Hampton joined MSG as a Liberty analyst in 2011. She also serves as the team’s Fan Development Leader by helping to develop the brand through community relations.
As a key figure in the history of the WNBA and the Liberty, the 6-3 Hampton began her WNBA career against Los Angeles in the league's inaugural game on June 21, 1997. She was also the first person to score a basket in the team's history. She went on to start every game for New York during the franchise's first three seasons. The Liberty's first-round pick in the WNBA Elite Draft in 1997, Hampton retired from the game on May 26, 2000 due to a chronic knee injury.
